We washed him as best as we could in 8 minutes and then made him ride home soaking wet in the bed of the truck so that we could dry him in the back yard. It didn't take long, but he smells a lot better and looks so handsome.
My mom is a groomer so she was curious about the cost of the self service dog washing machine. We came right home to check it out. If we wanted to invest in one for her shop we'd only have to shell out $15,800. What a bargain!

They need one of those places here in fayetteville, I pay almost $100 bucks a month for my Stitch to get a bath, teeth, nails, special trimming an conditioner because he sheds out a WHOLE OTHER DOG!!! Its crazy. I wish there was something that could be don't about the shedding part. Just for it to calm down some. You know what i mean! Anyways... Loved the pictures those red neck boys are getting so big.
It would be great for you because you could take Stitch to the real groomer once a month for the "whole package" and then take him to the $4 grooming car wash in between to get rid of the extra dead hair.
That is so funny to me! Sambonie is such a good dog! I hope he got a hoof off of the dead cow after this! :)
I will definitely post about the dead cow/hoof incident later, but yes, he'll get one ... once they dry out in the sun for a couple of days. Gotta make sure the bacteria are all dead. YUK!
Tropiclean makes a shampoo and conditioner for dogs who shed. There is also a tool called a shedender. They all work very well. (Just a few tips from a pro groomer.)

Hey Cindy! My mom says that she is not sure if they sell it there, but maybe. And the shampoo/conditioner is called "De-Shed"
